An ideal accompaniment to dishes with red meat, especially grilled meats and lamb dishes. Excellent with a lamb carré with crispy rösti and courgettes in a herb and cheese sauce.
The Syrah grape found its way from the famous Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage appellations along the course of the Rhone river to Valais in 1926. Here in Valais, the grape variety thrives so well that the wines are in no way inferior to Syrahs from all over the world. The label features the 3934 metre-high Bietschhorn from Letschutelli, which is just as striking and beautiful as the Syrah Les Pyramides.
Intense colour in the glass with cherry red reflections. The nose smells of black berries and white pepper with a beautiful aromatic intensity. Fresh and fiery on the attack, it develops full and voluminous on the palate. The long, fruity finish convinces with fresh and crisp tannins.
Tempered first fermentation to promote the fruit flavours. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with the aim of obtaining a fruity wine typical of the variety. This process allows the wine to retain its youthfulness and can be drunk immediately.
