This fine sparkling wine adds elegance to numerous meals and every occasion.
With its fine sparkling bubbles, delightful freshness and seductive elegance, sparkling wine is a symbol of joie de vivre. This joie de vivre and moments of celebration inspired us to christen our sparkling wine: Folie à deux, which means joie de vivre and light-heartedness in a double pack - harmoniously united but still unique.
Similar to the cheeky husband and the lovely bride at the altar, our ‘Deux’, the brut and the sec, also differ in character and appearance. But they celebrate together... be it a wedding, birthday, professional success or a foaming bathtub with candlelight - it's always time for joie de vivre!
This Blanc de Noir delights with its fine perlage and presents itself on the palate with a slight residual sweetness - rounded off with the fruitiness typical of the Pinot Noir grape.
The grapes with high acidity are harvested early and vinified according to the classic Champagne method. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wines undergo further fermentation in the bottle, to which we owe the fine sparkling carbon dioxide.
After extended storage, the yeast sediment is removed with great sensitivity and the bottles are topped off with the so-called dosage. The dosage gives the Folie à deux sec its charming residual sweetness.
